Palia The Great Human Bake Off Quest Guide And Rewards

Uncovering hidden recipes in Palia is one of the most satisfying activities for cozy gamers exploring the world of Kilima Village and Bahari Bay. Among these secret objectives is The Great Human Bake-Off, a unique found-item quest that challenges players to recreate an ancient culinary treat. Completing this hidden quest allows players to expand their cooking repertoire while learning more about ancient human history.

Starting The Great Human Bake-Off Quest

To initiate this hidden quest, players must travel to Bahari Bay and locate a forgotten grocery list hidden south of the Flooded Steps. Interacting with this item immediately adds the quest to your log and kicks off a short investigation into ancient baking habits. After picking up the note, speak with local villagers like Hekla to figure out what recipe the ancient humans were attempting to make.

Gathering Ingredients for Macarons

Once you consult Hekla, you will discover that the grocery list details the preparation for delicious Macarons. You will need to gather four primary ingredients: one carton of Milk, one sack of Flour, one Egg, and one Sweet Leaf. While Milk, Flour, and Eggs can be easily purchased from Zeki's General Store, Sweet Leaf must be foraged in the wilderness of Bahari Bay.

Preparing and Baking the Dish

Before you begin cooking at your housing plot, ensure that you have two Mixing Stations set up in your kitchen area. Having two mixing setups is a mandatory kitchen requirement to complete the multi-step preparation process smoothly. Grind the Sweet Leaf at the first station, then combine it with the remaining ingredients at the second station to craft three fresh Macarons.

Quest Completion and Rewards

Return to Hekla with the completed dish to share your culinary discovery and finish the questline. She will be thoroughly inspired by the creation, ending the conversation on a lighthearted note. As a permanent reward, players earn ten Renown and unlock the official Macaron recipe to bake anytime they need a focus boost.
